The Adanti Wine Farm is one of the historic cellars of the Montefalco area in Umbria, famous for its wines protected as Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso. It covers about 40 hectares of land, of which 30 to vineyards and 10 to olive groves, located in the hilly areas of Arquata and Colcimino, famous since ancient times for its high quality of olive oil and wine.
Today the actual owners of the farm, Pietro, Daniela and Donatella Adanti still aim for a quality production of selected wines and extra virgin olive oil, constantly turning the utmost care to all its products, in respect of the territory and its ancient traditions.

GRAPE VARIETY: 70% sangiovese, 15% sagrantino, 5% barbera, 5% merlot, 5% cabernet.
VINIFICATION: Grapes are crushed and de-stemmed, fermentation is made in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature at 28° C. Maceration of 3-4 weeks with pumping over and delestage. Ageing: barrels and tonneaux for 12 months.
CHARACTERISTICS: It pours a vibrant ruby red with aromas typical of the Montefalco soil: a fusion of balsamic and fruity notes ranging from cherry to currant, blackberry and plum. The mouthfeel is fresh with a balanced suite of tannins, and a rich perky flavour enlivens the fruity and balsamic tones. The wine is aged in large oak barrels for at least 12 months before bottling.
